From Rogers to Colorado: How Paint Your Power Is Taking Immersive Art on the Road

What happens when you take an immersive art experience out of its home studio and into new communities?

You find out that creativity travels.

That was the idea behind the Paint Your Power Colorado Tour, a September 2026 road trip that took our unique combination of art, music, connection, and immersive experiences from Rogers, Arkansas, to three Colorado communities: Pueblo, Cañon City, and Beulah.

Paint Your Power began in Rogers as an immersive art studio designed to make creativity accessible, social, and fun. But we have always believed the experience can be bigger than four walls.

The Colorado Tour was our chance to put that idea to the test.

Taking Paint Your Power on the Road

A Paint Your Power event isn't simply a traditional paint-and-sip where everyone sits down and follows the same painting.

Our experiences combine guided creativity with music, atmosphere, experimentation, and a little bit of the unexpected.

Depending on the event, that can mean blacklights, UV-reactive paint, projections, music, fluid art, themed experiences, or other interactive creative activities.

The goal is simple:

Create an environment where people feel comfortable letting go and making something of their own.

Taking that experience to Colorado meant adapting it to new venues, new audiences, and new communities while keeping the heart of Paint Your Power intact.

Three Cities. Three Different Experiences.

The Colorado Tour wasn't designed as three identical events.

Each stop had its own personality.

Pueblo: Basquiat × Beats

The tour kicked off in Pueblo with Basquiat × Beats: Paint Your Date at BloBack Gallery.

The combination of Jean-Michel Basquiat-inspired imagery, music, and a date-night format brought together art and energy in a way that felt right at home in a gallery environment.

It wasn't about perfectly reproducing a Basquiat painting.

It was about taking inspiration from his bold visual language and giving participants permission to create their own interpretation.

Cañon City: Picasso Style

The second stop brought Paint Your Power to the Fremont Center for the Arts in Cañon City for Paint Your Date: Picasso Style.

Picasso is a natural starting point for an interactive art experience because his work challenges the idea that there is only one correct way to see or create something.

Participants could experiment with shape, perspective, and interpretation while enjoying the social experience of creating together.

For Paint Your Power, that's what these events are really about: giving people permission to approach art differently.

Beulah: Starry Night in Beulah

The final stop was Starry Night in Beulah, a Van Gogh-inspired experience held at Tucita Event Hall as a fundraiser for the Beulah Community Center.

This event demonstrated another side of what Paint Your Power can do.

An immersive art event can be entertainment, but it can also help bring people together around a community cause.

Participants weren't simply attending a painting class. They were spending an evening together, creating something, supporting their community, and making memories along the way.

Why Take an Arkansas Art Experience to Colorado?

Because the idea behind Paint Your Power isn't limited to Rogers.

Northwest Arkansas is home, but the experience itself is portable.

We've built Paint Your Power around the idea that art can happen almost anywhere there is a room, a group of people, and a willingness to try something different.

That opens the door to partnerships with:

  • Arts organizations

  • Community centers

  • Galleries

  • Fundraisers

  • Schools and youth organizations

  • Corporate groups

  • Private venues

  • Festivals and special events

  • Tourism and destination experiences

The Colorado Tour allowed us to explore those possibilities in real communities rather than simply talking about them.

More Than a Paint Night

One of the biggest misconceptions about creative events is that they're only for people who already consider themselves artistic.

We don't believe that.

Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want to create.

Others arrive saying, "I can't paint."

Both are welcome.

Paint Your Power is designed around participation rather than perfection.

You can come for the art.

You can come for the music.

You can come for the date night.

You can come because your friend talked you into it.

Or you can come simply because you want to do something you've never done before.

There is no single reason to get creative.

What the Colorado Tour Taught Us

Taking Paint Your Power on the road reinforced something we've seen in our Rogers studio again and again:

People want experiences, not just activities.

They want something they can talk about afterward.

They want to laugh with their friends.

They want to try something outside their normal routine.

They want opportunities to connect with other people.

And sometimes, they just want permission to make a mess and have fun.

That's the space Paint Your Power is trying to create.

From Rogers to Wherever Creativity Takes Us Next

The Colorado Tour was an important step for Paint Your Power.

It allowed us to introduce the brand to new audiences, work with new venues and organizations, and explore what happens when an immersive art concept leaves its home studio.

But Colorado isn't the end of the story.

It's part of the evolution.

Paint Your Power started in Rogers, Arkansas, but our goal has never been to simply offer another place to paint.

We want to create experiences that make people feel something.

Curiosity.

Connection.

Confidence.

Maybe even a little bit of controlled chaos.

Whether you're visiting our studio in Rogers or bringing Paint Your Power to your own community, the idea remains the same:

You don't have to be an artist to make something powerful.

You just have to be willing to Paint Your Power.

Bring Paint Your Power to Your Community

Interested in hosting a Paint Your Power experience outside our Rogers studio?

We work with venues, organizations, businesses, community groups, and private parties to create unique art experiences tailored to their audience and space.

Because the next great Paint Your Power experience might not happen in our studio.

It might happen in your city.
